This film is an original scripted work yet uses a few brief clips from TV shows, movies and online channels for reference throughout. These were already posted and made public to wide audiences on Youtube. Everything has been credited to the best of our current knowledge.
The music in this film is a combination of original music to ancient folk music to modern Western and Chinese pop/rock including a performance with slightly altered lyrics. While the producer has many musician friends with an archive of original music and could easily have used that for the entire score, he wanted to introduce some ancient and modern Asian music to a Western audience and vice versa. Also, some of these songs were actually playing in the public places where the scenes were filmed, and this way replicates an authentic experience.
